Society of Veterinary Hospital Pharmacists – Welcome.

The Society of Veterinary Hospital Pharmacists is an organization comprised of pharmacists working exclusively in the veterinary field, primarily at veterinary teaching hospitals in colleges of veterinary medicine. Our membership is international with the U.S., Canada, the Netherlands, Denmark, Australia and New Zealand represented. The role of the veterinary pharmacist is varied with many clinical and administrative duties including product selection and procurement. Many of our fellows hold faculty positions with colleges of veterinary medicine and colleges of pharmacy where they are instrumental in instructing both veterinary and pharmacy students about the medications used in animals.   Read More
